Can adults take this food supplement?
Sambucol Kids Liquid is not suitable for those over the age of 12. If you’re looking for a vitamin C supplement that’s right for you or an older child, you may want to consider using Sambucol Original liquid instead.
How to take this product
Give Sambucol Kids Liquid to your child after a meal, this product should not be taken on an empty stomach. If you want to, you can give the daily dose to your child throughout the day, rather than all at once. The recommended daily dose of this product will be different depending on your child’s age and the time of year:

Children aged 1 – 6: One 5ml teaspoon a day

Children aged 7 – 12: Two 5ml teaspoons (10ml) a day

Winter dosage for children aged 1 – 6: One or two 5ml teaspoons (5 – 10ml) twice a day

Winter dosage for children aged 7 – 12: Two or three 5ml teaspoons (10 – 15ml) twice a day
When should this product not be used?
Sambucol Kids Liquid is not suitable for children who are younger than 1 year old or older than 12 years old. Do not give this product to your child if they are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. This product is a food supplement and should not be used in place of a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. If your child has an underlying medical condition or is under medical supervision, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Make sure you speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using this product if your child has a fever or any other persistent condition.
Does Sambucol Kids Liquid have any side effects?
Sambucol Kids Liquid is not currently known to have any side effects. However, your child may experience side effects, including symptoms caused by an allergic reaction. How to store this product
